Com.It.Es. South Australia seeks to promote Italian language and culture in Australia’s multiculturally diverse population. The Progetto Donna Awards recognise exceptional Italian and Italian-Australian women in various fields.
These awards applaud women who have excelled and are role models, embodying qualities that contribute to a strong, caring, inclusive, and nurturing community.
Nominations close: Monday 4 August 2025 (5:00pm ACDT)

- Nominations for more than one award category are allowed, though a separate nomination form must be completed per category
- We encourage self-nomination. In case of self-nomination, use the ‘Self Nomination form’
- Women who have received a Queen/King’s Honour Award, Australia Day Award or have been made a Cavaliere of the Italian Republic are ineligible to be nominated. Previous winners of the Progetto Donna are ineligible
- Previous nominees are welcome to apply again.
- Members of Com.It.Es. SA Committee, the Progetto Donna’s subgroup and the Progetto Donna 2025 judging panel are ineligible to nominate or be nominated
- Supporting evidence (eg. resume, photos and news articles) is allowed and should be attached to your nomination
- By submitting the form, the nominee and nominator have read and accepted the guidelines and the privacy statement
- The nominator requires to obtain the nominee's consent and signature before submitting
